We're literally over the moon to announce that The Third Dad is one of only nine films selected to appear in this year's LUNAFEST Film Festival which features award-winning short films by, for and about women.
LUNAFEST will travel to over 175 venues across the United States and Canada screening short films by female filmmakers to more than 25,000 people. Profits from ticket sales are allocated to the Breast Cancer Fund and local non-profit organisations.
The ethos of LUNAFEST is to "support and nurture the inspiring and often unsung work of talented women filmmakers" and to "raise funds and awareness for causes that help, empower and give a voice to women from all walks of life".
The 16th annual tour premieres Thursday 29 September in the stunning Herbst Theatre at the San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center. Other films in the programme include Another Kind of Girl by Khaldiya Jibawi and Nkosi Coiffure by Frederike Migom.
Keep an eye on the Screenings page and follow us on Facebook or Twitter to see where the films are showing.
